The Film Archives – Fuji 400H and Portra 400 35mm Canon 1V and Pentax K1000 | Chicago wedding photographer

For mine and Cole’s 2 year dating anniversary, we went to the woods since we were quarantined together, and then took a walk around Loyola’s campus. We had so much fun at the woods shooting on my Canon 1V Fuji 400H film, and waited a few months to get our film processed due to the pandemic. It finally came back, and it is a little darker than I prefer due to Cole’s naivety with a film camera vs. digital, but overall I am happy with them! Our Portra 400 film came back from The Find Lab in Utah after shooting on my Pentax K1000, and I have to say, I am quite happy with the results. Might I be a Portra 400 convert? Only time will tell! Being a Chicago wedding photographer, I am due to get back more of this film soon from an anniversary session I did for a local Chicago wedding planner. Stay tuned for those scans!
