Alex and Emily are so sweet together, as is their dog, Greta! Alex had been planning to propose to Emily for quite some time, picked the perfect ring, and coordinated the whole thing with myself and Emily’s best friend, who happens to be a planner with the Simply Elegant Group in Chicago. Danielle and I are buddies, so she told Alex that she knew the perfect Chicago wedding photographer to capture their special moments at the Morton Arboretum. In order to find the prettiest light, I scouted out locations with beautiful fall foliage, and told Alex exactly where to get on one knee, when I was hiding behind tree cover close by with my Canon cameras. Once the moment happened, Emily and their pup Greta were super surprised, and she was delighted to find a photographer nearby to capture their engagement session.
