As a Chicago wedding photographer, I get asked often what a parent album is, and what the difference is between a parent album and a client album, so I thought I would write a post about it!
What is the purpose of a parent album?
-The purpose of a parent album is to gift each set of parents that the couple brings to the wedding with a beautiful heirloom design to commemorate the wedding day. Often times, parents help to pay for the couple’s wedding, and this is a wonderful way to say thank you for all of their help with planning and financials
What makes a parent album different?
What makes a parent album different is that it often has the same design as a client album, or alternatively, can include more family photos from the day. A parent album can either be the same size or smaller than the client album. Typically, you can purchase two smaller parent albums for the cost of one client album.
If you have any additional questions about parent albums, please list them in the comments! Thanks so much for taking the time to read this post 🙂
