The Newberry Library is truly a historic and beautiful space. From the array of old and romantic books, to the restored original mosaic floor in the lobby, there is so much that one can do with a space like this! Chayla and Matina, the event coordinators at the library, surprised me with this styled shoot in the amazing space. I was taken aback by their kindness and the beauty that they had set up. The shoot gave me all of the beauty and the beast vibes: with the grand entrance in a staircase fit for a queen and the darker wooded reception area of Ruggles Hall.
