The Film Archives: Fuji 400h PentaxK1000|Chicago Wedding Photographer

Being a Chicago wedding photographer who has been shooting digital for over 10 years, I just started shooting film! After idolizing film photographers for about a decade, my father gifted me his old Pentax K1000 film camera, which some would say could double as a hammer for nails since it is so durable. I am over the moon with learning how to shoot film from Julie Paisley, and love how these turned out after my time learning from her. These photos were taken on a Pentax K1000 with Fuji 400h film. I’d love to hear your comments on my first roll ever 🙂 Cole got me a Canon 1V for Christmas, and I am so excited to see how much more clear those turn out, since the workhorse Pentax K1000 is all manual 🙂 More to come in January of 2020, when I get my scans back from my first ever shoot and portrait session with the Canon 1V.
