Elise and Alex knew they did not want a traditional wedding. That’s why they employed the help of the best elopement planners in town to make their non traditional, intimate wedding dream a reality. At The Drake, we typically think of the big ballrooms and extravagance, but that is just not this pair’s style. Tastefully done, the two wed in The Drake’s Venetian Room, and had their luncheon with close family and friends shortly thereafter. The one thing Elise really wanted was a father daughter dance, so to the stylings of Adam the guitarist, Elise shared her dance with her new husband, Alex, and then a sign along and dance with her affectionate dad. This truly brought a tear to my eye and a smile to my face, and I am so glad that I was able to capture these endearing moments.
